SERPENTINE
Holy Shit! Cow! The burger here is ama-ha-zing. Serpertine has ruined me. I can’t eat a burger elsewhere anymore.
The pic I have doesn’t do this burger justice, so enjoy this interior shot instead. If you’re really motivated, close your eyes real tight and imagine a big beefy burger with juice running down the side sandwiched between buttery bread toasted so perfectly that you get a nice buttery crust before your teeth sinks into the softness, and then your tasetbuds hit the arugula and pickled onions and boom. pow. wow.
here’s a gratuitous decor shot to make up for the lack of food shots. ha.
Roasted Padron peppers, my new best friends. The veggie dishes and sides here are always so incredible – simple but so full of flavor. They’re not afterthoughts, they’re stars!
My view of the dining room. Great seat, eh?
The woman sitting at the table next to us made me mad! She just picked at her burger all night and ended up eating a corner of it. (How tragically wasteful.)
I’m glad I wasn’t her date paying for her meal, that would suck.
I’m really loving breastplate necklaces right now even though it has such an ugly name. (I feel weird even just saying it. It sounds like something that belongs on a menu instead: breastplate with jewel drippings.) I can’t seem to find a nice one (at a price that’s not the equivalent of five meals at Serpentine). So I went shopping in my closet and found this, which I wore tonight.
