It was our last meal in town before hopping in a cab to JFK. We were in no rush, and when you have a few hours pre-flight to kill, it seemed like now would be an excellent time wait in line.

It’s a good sign when there are Japanese folks (like, from, like, actually, Japan!) willing to brave the frigid cold on the stoop outside for a bowl of NY ramen.

The ramen was really good, but…

…this little guy…. Ho ho ho. Har har har. Hubba hubba.

We could have easily downed two of these Torched Unis per person, but everything in moderation, right?

In hindsight, after it was announced that our already delayed non-stop from JFK now included a (oh my effing gawd!!!) flight change in Pheonix…

…I wished I had gone for a second helping of torched uni…and ramen…and whatever else they served (even though the airport food wasn’t too bad).

Marc got me a cookie from the kiosk and told me to man up:
